Father Brian Johnson, C.Ss.R., is the Rector of the Church of Our Lady of the Desert (2021-). Fr Brian was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa. He attended grade school at the local Redemptorist parish. He was ordained a priest in 1986 and has worked exclusively in parishes across the western 2/3s of the country. Fr. Brian has a lot of experiences in pastoral ministry, especially in the area of faith formation. He enjoys conducting the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, Bible and spiritual programs. He runs Bible Studies and Spiritual Development for the churchgoers here. (Please look for the announcement of this Bible series in the bulletin). He would love to see OLDC parishioners continue to grow deeply in our relationship with God. He looks forward to ministering parishioners of OLDC.
