Serenity Retreats

Serenity Retreats at the Redemptorist Renewal Center will continue with the return of Fr. Charlie Wehrley, C.Ss.R. We greatly appreciate the foundation of this retreat built by Fr. Charlie, who started these retreats in 2002. In 2024, we are happy to welcome him in his CSsR return to the RRC.

SOULSHINE: A Codependents Anonymous Support Group

Fr. Charlie also sponsors a Codependents Anonymous support group called Soulshine.  The group meets at the Center in the main office every Wednesday night from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.  This is an open group that reads from various recovery books and then opens the floor for personal sharing.  Although this is primarily a codependency group, it is open to anyone suffering from addictive behaviors.  Addictions are symptoms of a deeper problem, that problem being “I don’t love who I am.”  We try to get to the root cause of “acting-out” by helping each other to develop self-understanding and self-love.

Cost: Please call the office for current rates for the Serenity Retreats.

SOULSHINE: A Blog of Spiritual Reflections

Fr. Charlie also authors a blog entitled Soulshine which offers spiritual reflections for those who are struggling with loving who they are.  The purpose of the blog is to help people see that we are all created in the image and likeness of God, that we all have self-worth, and that we need to take back our personal power by looking inside ourselves for approval, affirmation and love.
